November 6, 2007 (Day 73)
Let me tell you about my son Corey. Alway's a happy child, always loving and giving. My little buddy in his young years. He was content to play with his match box cars and ride his bike. He loved the outdoors, camping, swimming in the Homochitto River and canoeing.
I miss that little boy. Now a man of 31 with children of his own. Still with that same gentleness and giving spirit. Although life has handed him heartache and challenges, he's still finding his way. I wish for you, my son, contentment without complacency, love without heartache and life without pain. Rememeber what mother has taught you about looking beyond your world and seeking new friends, challenges and adventure. Be ever mindful of your priorities and what is important in life. Remember that every experience, challenge and encounter you have is a lesson. Pay attention.
